Biography
I was born and raised in Scranton, PA. My parents were both educators who told me that I can do anything I wanted to do in this world, except be a teacher. I think they were hoping I would interpret that as "be a lawyer or a doctor." Instead I moved to New York City after graduating from Penn State to pursue a career in television production.

I got lucky and landed a job as an NBC page and got coffee and sandwhiches for everyone from Tony Curtis to Bruce Springsteen. I was hired as a production assistant at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and worked there for four years and held 5 different positions.

While climbing the ranks at The Daily Show, I was honing my skills as a songwriter and infuriating my two roommates in our cramped Manhattan apartment on a nightly basis. One day they sat me down and told me it was time for me to play for an audience other than my bedroom furniture and two reluctant roommates.

I took their demand...er, advice and got a gig at a midtown bar on Sunday nights. Playing an acoustic set in New York on Sunday night is like being the victim of a mafia-crime -- no witnesses.
However, it was a time for me to do what I truly loved and get whatever feedback I could get from anyone drunk enough to give it.

In the winter of 2003, I felt the giant void in my life/elephant in the room was that I was unhappy with my professional life. So I decided to go where every other lost soul goes when they need to find themselves -- Los Angeles.

I landed a job as a Producer at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where I eventually won an Emmy. As great as that sounds, I just wasn't right for daytime. I knew I was in trouble when they told me to "start thinking like a housewife."

After I parted ways with my friends at Ellen, I was inspired to return to music. I have since taken freelance TV producing gigs, all the while writing and playing as much music as my neighbors can stand.

I'm now working at Jimmy Kimmel Live as a field producer and hitting the studio on a regular basis. I'm hoping to have my first album completed by the Summer of 2006.
