Len Mormino
       When it's Quiet

"When It's Quiet" is the second collaboration between Len Mormino and Aaron Nathans.

Len Mormino's songwriting is fueled by a curiosity about how people deal with love, emptiness, the beauty and ugliness that we are. He approaches writing and performance as a conversation with the listener.
Born and raised in Chicago area, Len now lives with his wife and 3 daughters in Madison, WI. His songs have appeared on Madison Songwriters Group's (MSG) Made At Home and Made At Home II CD's. He has been a guest performer at Madison's "Songwriter in the Round" Venue, First Unitarian Society, MSG CD Release shows, and with Madison's Award-Winning Clear Blue Betty at the Majestic Theatre and Urban Theater Television Show.
His music has placed in top ranks twice in the Midwest Song Contest, Top 10 in Broadjam's Listener's Choice Competition in seven different categories, as well as received Honorable Mention in the the 2005 Billboard Music Contest and 2004 Summer Music Challenge, sponsored by IK Multimedia &
Broadjam. Hear more of Len's music at www.broadjam.com/lenmormino/.

Aaron Nathan's specialty is writing songs about nothing, yet they're clearly about something. He can use the minutia of everyday life that often goes unnoticed to portray the greater themes that affect us all.
This Delaware-based acoustic guitar player picks small things to write about, like grapefruit, squirrels and politicians. Nathans, who recently relocated from Madison, Wisconsin deftly evokes a sense of place, balancing emotion with a wicked sense of humor.
He released his debut album, "Same Old You," in spring 2005. The new folk-rock record crackles with honesty and heartfelt storytelling. It offers a vast sweep of music, from a Rockwell portrait of a New England morning to cold nights in the American West.
Aaron Nathans is a native of New Jersey, and grew up in Bexley, Ohio. He is a journalist and lives in Wilmington with his wife, playwright Debra Neff Nathans.
He is a four-time finalist in the Midwest Songwriting Competition, and was selected in 2005 as a finalist in the SolarFest Songwriters' Showcase in Tinmouth, Vt.
