"Apparently
someone got a bit experimental in the chem lab and mixed the DNA of Janis Joplin
and Melissa Etheridge" (Indie-Music.com) and out came Sean Wiggins. Born in New
York, living in LA and touring everywhere in between, Wiggins draws audiences
into her groove immediately with her soulful lyrics and powerful vocals. Whether
playing with a full band or standing solo on the stage, Wiggins is captivating,
with a strong stage presence and humorous story-telling between songs. Wiggins
has shared the stage with Julia Fordham, Jill Sobule, Sophie B. Hawkins, Cyndi
Lauper & more. She was winner of Billboard’s Song Contest, and she released her
4th solo CD in April 05, with a new one on the way this Spring, 07. Sean has
been touring the United States making stops at hot spots like Eddie’s Attic in
Atlanta, The Hard Rock in Chicago, CBGB’s in NY and The Bluebird in Nashville.
Sean has music featured in a few independent films and music on NPR, KLOS (LA),
WCKG (CHI), WDYN (NY), along with many more radio and internet radio stations
around the world. Her pod casts are also on the rise. In Addition, in the Fall
of ’06, Sean was a member of the touring cast of “Sordid Lives”, starring Leslie
Jordan of “Will & Grace”. Keep an eye out, Sean may be coming your way.

Indie-Music.com – Jennifer Leighton –“I’ve reviewed Wiggins before, and each time I think she can’t pull any more surprises on me, she proves me wrong. I’ve never heard her sound this good. That sweet, tough, bluesy voice contains such richness, depth, and subtle nuances that change with each breath.”
