Indie Artists Alliance and iMuzic.com announce Compilation CD IV:  Backbeat

Castro Valley, CA ● July 19, 2007

Indie Artists Alliance and iMuzic.com announce the opening of their compilation CD contest: Backbeat. This is Indie Artists Alliance’s fourth compilation contest.

Indie Artists Alliance and iMuzic.com  are seeking hard driving songs that make listeners move their feet, with or without lyrics. Songs of all genres are welcome, but must be well written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered. They should display originality, creativity and have a strong backbeat.

Songs will be chosen through both a judging panel and public voting process. All content received will be uploaded to www.imuzic.com  where fans can listen and vote. iMuzic.com will provide html codes to point fans to the streaming player where they can vote for their favorite song. iMuzic will also make this music available for download for $0.89 per track, with musicians receiving a 70% split of the revenue.

All submitting artists will receive a copy of Contracts for Independent Musicians and a discount coupon for CD production from CDDVD Now!. 

1,000 physical CDs will be manufactured and distributed by Indie Artists Alliance and iMuzic.com to Music Supervisors and as film, television and Indie radio contacts. Release date is scheduled for January 2008.
