- "WITCHBLADE"
- this is a Home Video release of the hit television show from
TNT which aired from 2000 – 2002. Production Company – Mythic Films
/ Producer – Ralph Hemecker / Distribution via Warner Home Video.
- The
Story: The series centered around Sara Pezzini, a
tough-as-nails NYPD homicide detective who comes into possession of
the Witchblade, a supernatural, sentient artifact with immense
destructive and protective powers. The weapon has bonded with
various women throughout history, the most recent being Danielle
Baptiste. Others who have come into contact with the witchblade
include Cleopatra and Joan of Arc. Sara struggles to hone the
awesome powers of the Witchblade and fend off those with a nefarious
interest in it, especially entrepreneur Kenneth Irons. She also
struggles to maintain a personal life. [ You can get a sense of the

The Project: This project is for the Home
Video/DVD/Digital Download version of the full run of the
television show episodes. We are either licensing the existing
songs for these specific worldwide/perpetuity media rights or
replacing these with new and updated selections. This project is
already in editing/post process, so this is an IMMEDIATE need!!
There is a limited “per song” budget (the typical/standard DVD
replacement fee), but the fees will be paid quickly (first quarter
2008) and we are open/hoping to find multiple songs from sources to
maximize your revenues.

PITCHING: Please send ONE low resolution mp3 per email – in
the subject line please state: “Witchblade Pitch – replacing
“song/artist” (name the song and artist that your pitch is
replacing). Please note in your submission what % of synch and
master licensing you control (and if not 100%, please let us know

MUSIC NEEDS: Please focus ONLY on the
song/artist list below. All of these songs can be
sampled/heard on iTunes. We are NOT needing to focus on the lyrical
content usually – we ARE focused on the mood and feel of the tracks.
Listen to the mood, the tempo and BPM, the production styles, the
instrumentation/vocal ‘sound’, etc... Use the song list as exact
“temp” songs... Do not shotgun your pitches for this project –
please stay targeted. You will find styles ranging from Electronica
(from high energy to ambient), Classic Rock, Modern Rock...
