Indie Artists Alliance (IAA) is looking for independent musicians to showcase on the upcoming Songwriters and Storytellers CD – Vol.2

We’re looking for songs that use lyrics to tell a story from beginning to end with a focus on both the content and the music. Since traditional storytelling relies on the recipient's personal experience and imagination, it tends to be stronger in impact. We are looking for those songs that will paint a picture for the listener and evoke thought and emotion.

This compilation contest is open to all genres as long as it’s easy to follow along with the lyrics.

Indie Artists Alliance will be uploading all content  to the iMuzic.com (www.imuzic.com)  where fans can listen and vote for their favorite music. Songs will be available for $0.89 per track with IAA paying musicians a 70% split of the revenue.

Additionally, we will also be providing links to the artists so they can point their cans to the streaming player so they can vote song.

Winners will be picked from a combination of scores including the overall ranking in the iMuzic site and the Indie Artists Alliance panel of judges which includes staff members, San Francisco/Oakland local musicians, iMuzic street team members

We will be manufacturing and distributing 1,000 physical CDs. Recipients of these CDs will be Indie Radio Stations, Music Supervisors, Event Planners, Venue Promoters.

Prizes will include the production of 1000 Retail Ready CDs, several short run CD production packages, promotion on Create411.com, Indie Artists Alliance website, www.iMuzic.com website and cash prizes.
